Simply put, the prayer room is about first things first.
The greatest commandment of God according to Jesus is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)
In other words, our relationship with God is the starting place, it’s the beginning. Everything else in our life that is of any significance hinges upon this relationship w/Him.
The Prayer Room then is simply an invitation to return to this first place, our first love – Jesus. It is a space that is set apart from the noise & busyness of our everyday lives to love, pursue & meet with Jesus both as individuals & with others.
